Self-mastery and total holistic wellbeing are only possible when you fairly nourish your body, mind and soul. I used to believe health and wellness was all about correct nutrition. Partly due to my background in nutritional therapy, no doubt, but I was convinced it was simply healthy eating, nutritional supplements and incorporating exercise into our daily regime. But I was missing the bigger picture. This approach focused mainly on physical and mental/emotional health, but it neglected to address complete transformation and self-mastery. Surely true wellness should be measured according to how happy, healthy, and vital we are in every moment of our existence? For much of my life, I’ve struggled with self-doubt, fears and self-sabotage. My diet was great but while I felt good physically, I was lacking fulfilment on an emotional and spiritual level. I felt stuck and frustrated, with no idea where I was going, and it was obvious to me that my negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs were holding me back.
