10 Low Calorie Alcoholic Drinks to Enjoy this Summer

I hate to break this to you but booze calories count, these liquid calorie hubs are probably some of the worst calories for our bodies. On the other hand, this does not necessarily mean that all alcoholic drinks contain ridiculous amounts of calories; some drinks contain very low amounts of calories recommended for intake. If you are concerned about living a healthier life and still enjoy a good drink, then you need to know the calories that go straight to beer bellies and those with very minimal calories that do not make any difference in your body.

For starters, choosing clear drinks is surprisingly one of the paths to follow. I know that labelling alcoholic drinks as low calorie can be an oxymoron, but some drinks are and can be used even while trying to stick to a diet.

Secondly, and this should be obvious, the key is to drink moderation (boo, I know) but like anything in life, too much of a good thing is not so great for your waist line. Most alcoholic drinks are fine to consume as long as you don’t over do it and one way to keep track is to understand the approximate calorie count of your favourite drinks.

Here are some of the low-calorie alcoholic drinks;
